High Desert Heads Up 🌞

Our wedding will be outdoors in Los Alamos, New Mexico, during the summer. While the scenery is beautiful, the high altitude (about 7,300 ft) and high desert climate can feel different if you’re not used to it. Days are often warm and sunny, and the elevation can make dehydration happen faster than you might expect.

A few tips to help you feel your best:

Drink plenty of water throughout the day (more than you normally would).

Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat if you’re sensitive to the sun.

Take it easy with alcohol until you’ve had time to adjust to the altitude.

Light, breathable clothing is recommended for the warm afternoon temperatures.

Evenings can cool down, so a light layer might be helpful.

We want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy the celebration, so please plan accordingly and take care of yourselves while visiting our beautiful little mountain town!

Where is the wedding?

The wedding will be located at Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Address: 2132 Central Ave, Los Alamos, NM 87544

Who is invited?

We absolutely adore your children, but to keep our celebration relaxed and intimate, our wedding will be adults-only, with the exception of infants and toddlers ages 2 and under. We also ask that only those listed under your party attend. Space is limited for our venue. Thank you for understanding and celebrating with us!

What should I wear?

Our wedding attire is semi-formal. Since we’ll be celebrating outdoors in the New Mexico summer, we recommend lightweight fabrics, breathable styles, and comfortable shoes. Feel free to dress for the heat—and don’t shy away from pink! The bride loves it.
